Italian American Club South Conduct Policy

​​​​​The mission of the Italian American Club South is to celebrate our Italian culture and traditions while creating harmony within the Villages. We are proud and patriotic Americans whose aim is to exhibit the best of Italian- Americans by honoring the legacy of Italian immigration to the United States. Our main focus is on fun, camaraderie and giving to others.  Our conduct policy reflects this legacy and focus. With this in mind, we expect appropriate language and behaviors that show respect for all members, guests, and facilities that are used for all Club events and activities.


Code of Conduct

  • The use of any object, language, behavior, written communication that  presents a risk of harm, deemed offensive or causes distress to any persons or property will not be permitted.
  • The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages at all Club functions is 21.  The use of, or providing to minors any illegal drugs or alcohol by any member or guest at any Club function is prohibited.
  • Club events and activities are classified as non-smoking.  Smoking is allowed in designated areas outside all indoor events and away from any outdoor activities. This includes smokeless tobacco products and smoking-like products such as electronic cigarettes. 


If unbecoming conduct under the provisions of this policy is exhibited by any member or guest, the following disciplinary actions are available to the Executive Board:

       For Members:
                Written warning
                Suspension of Club membership for 60 days
                Dismissal from the Club with no possibility of membership renewal
       For Guests:
                Entrance to future Club functions, and Club membership will be denied

This policy is not intended to be all inclusive, members and guests are also expected to comply with all applicable State laws and The Villages policies.  A member may be expelled from the Club for cause at anytime.
